When I first started to garden professionally, many many years ago :) I became obsessed with the perfectly clean, weed free, garden bed, edged in neatly trimmed boxwood hedges or framed with lovely planks of raw wood. All arranged in a very neat geometric pattern, with connecting pathways made out of traditional materials and all very formal. Wow! Absolutely gorgeous to behold for that one...

I have experience starting community gardens but am not having much luck finding a site where I am now living. 

As I drive home from work every weekday, I notice, as I am coming down the west end of the Garden City skyway, that there are HUGE tracts of land in the Cushman/Bunting area.  I wonder who owns it and how to find out.  It looks like at least an acre (I don't REALLY know what an acre looks like...)
