Who can help

I'm a recent graduate from Boston who's been in Canada for the last 4-5 years. Of the last few years, I've spent about 2-3 working as an organic farm hand and intern at farms in North Dakota, Kingston and most recently in Ottawa. I also have experience working with community gardening groups and doing some guerrilla gardening on my own.I'm super interested in urban agriculture and expanding gardening and farming in urban spaces, which brought me to landshare. I'd love to get in contact with those with available land and well as any other young famers/urban agriculture folks about getting some more stuff under cultivation and scheming some UA plans.

I'm a 24-year-old who loves eating food, specifically fresh fruits and vegetables. Landshare is really neat and I just learned about it. Hopefully we can all share land together.

Hi, I'm an apartment dweller missing the days when I had a large outdoor space......... would love to do some gardening out and about in Toronto!

I'm a general management consultant with a background in community development and a construction carpenter. I've also done some broadcast work with the CBC (and hope to do more soon). As a freshly-graduated emerging green builder with a consulting and community development background, my interest is in blending the bricks and mortar component with the human. I want to explore ideas and models for the creation of aesthetically-pleasing, flexible, energy-efficient and durable housing that better meets our economic, environmental, physical, cultural and psychological needs. And I think it’s critical to place these models in the context of viable, connected and meaningful communities in urban and rural locations alike. Food, of course, plays a very critical role in the big picture and I don't think it should be an afterthought in the community development and sustainability process.

2 years of organic farming slavery err... "apprenticeships"

I haven't any land to offer, but I'm an expert on growing Rhubarb and Dandelions. I do like to work hard and dream of having chickens and goats, in particular, the ones that fall over when you startle them. There is no one listed in the Oshawa area that needs help, but I am also very patient. I'm happy to wait for Landshare to grow here. :)

I grew up surrounded by vegetable and flower gardens. Now I live in the city, I garden in pots on my small patio, but would love to help someone with their gardens close by. I have a small son and know this is important for him to grow up with. Invaluable lessons are taught in the secret places of a garden.
