Make Landshare work for you – 4 simple tips!
Landshare Canada was launched in the first week of May and we’re overwhelmed with the response so far! We have almost 250 members and growing in a very short time! The website is buzzing with activity - with lots of people posting to grow, offer land, and help out! With all this action going on, there are a few tips for everyone to find the land, growers or help that they need. Here are some key must-dos.
1.Create a listing
If you want to offer land or grow food and show up on our Map and Listings page, signing up on Landshare Canada is not enough, you must create a listing! If you sign up and don’t create a listing, you automatically show up as a supporter and it's very hard for people to know what you have to offer.
2.Check your emails
You will receive notifications by email whenever somebody responds to your listing. Some email clients don't like automated emails from websites and they might block our mails to you, so make sure you've added info@landsharecanada.com to your contacts list so that our messages don't end up in your junk mail folder.
3.Respond to messages
Behind every communication there's an individual eager to grow or to find a grower. Be kind and drop them a quick reply!
Login and check your console and messages.
4.Keep your listing current
If you have made a match, don't forget to mark your listing as matched - that way others won't try contacting you. In case you've changed your mind, you can simply delete it. If nobody has responded to your listing, you might want to add more detail to both your listing and profile!
Login and check your listing.
